If page 3 of General Freedom looks shitty, I’m sorry.
The manga studio file went and screwed up on me.
Yknow, Asari in the fandom have always either been depicted as either commando soldiers, “local elder”, or even as a quick lay in one or another story.
But I seriously wonder just about how varied their people’s interests would actually be.
Like, would there be an Asari young adult novelist working on Earth?
Would there be an Asari athlete known for her physical prowess?
Did that one singer enjoy the fact that they named a planet after her?
I’ve been working on this on and off for a while, in fact, originally, I just inked the sketch.
But nah, I wanted to do it right. Reworked it in Manga Studio, kept the perspectived title. and gave it a bit of a twist!
Hope you like!
I couldn’t really sketch much this month.
Some dumb stuff to get my mind off stuff, mainly.
But I also got some storyboarding practise in there, taking some scenes from movies like “Her” and “Dallas Buyers Club” and kind of dissecting some shots.
Some attempts at illustation, Humberto Shepard (based on Monterrey’s Humberto Suazo), a Lovely Ladybug character sheet and some perspective practise!
Just thought I’d try out this inking style. I’m a bit rusty, but its pretty similar to what I did on Combat Class, only in this case, its done digitally on Manga Studio EX 4.
I’ll be trying out more pieces with this style…
Seriously, though. I do wanna finish those.
Here’s the rest of February.
Some shoddy character designs, ideas, practise…
Kinda wishin’ tumblr’d give me more room but then again, I’m really just uploading these for completion’s sake.
